Who we are

JMSONS is an online store operated by JMSONS, Thiruppuvanam, Tamil Nadu, India. This page explains what information we collect when you shop with us, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

What we collect

• Account details you give us: name, email address, mobile number and password.
• Order details: items purchased, delivery address, pin code and contact number for the courier.
• Payment information: the method you chose and the transaction reference. We do not store card numbers, UPI IDs or net banking credentials — these are handled by the payment provider.
• Usage information: pages viewed and products searched, used to keep the catalogue and search results relevant.

Why we use it

• To accept, pack, dispatch and deliver your order, and to keep you updated on its status.
• To answer your support requests and process returns or refunds.
• To meet accounting and tax obligations that apply to a business in India.
• To improve the store — for example, understanding which categories need better product information.

What we do not do

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers. Data is shared only with the parties needed to complete your order (payment provider, courier) or where the law requires it.

Cookies

We use cookies to keep you signed in, remember your cart and language choice, and measure which pages are used. You can clear or block cookies in your browser; parts of the store such as the cart and checkout will not work without them.

How long we keep it

Order and invoice records are kept for the period required by Indian tax law. Account information is kept while your account is open. If you close your account, we delete or anonymise what we no longer need to keep.

• Ask for a copy of the information we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct anything that is wrong.
• Ask us to delete your account and the data we are not legally required to keep.
• Stop receiving promotional messages at any time from your account or by writing to us.
